Betty Dora Lewis Hamill, 85, of Enfield, NC, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2017.

She was born to the late Joseph Monterey and Ruth Elizabeth Spivey Lewis, and was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lee Hamill.

Betty was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Betty is survived by her two daughters, Elizabeth Leigh Hamill of Enfield, NC, Betty Jo Stallings and her husband, Allen, of Enfield, NC; her three grandchildren, Donny Wayne Speight, Jr., George Edward Clay, Brantley Lewis Stallings; her two great-grandchildren, Rylie Lynn Avery Clay and Mason Edward Clay.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. Susan Joyce officiating.

Burial will follow in the Lewis Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 1:30 p.m. until service time.
